Givaudan délocalise en Hongrie - 120 emplois supprimés à Kemptal

Le numéro un mondial des arômes et parfums Givaudan rationalise ses activités en Suisse. Quelque 120 emplois vont disparaître à Kemptal, près de Zurich. Les activités seront délocalisées d'ici 2013 dans une usine construite en Hongrie, a indiqué mardi le groupe.

Siemens se developpe en hongrie

"Siemens is participating in the development of two ecofriendly combined-cycle power plants - one in the German state of Brandenburg and the other in Hungary - in scope of which it will employ about 1,000 people over the next three years and create about 50 jobs at each location once the construction is completed, the company has announced.

The project has a total value of roughly EUR 1.5 billion and will employ up to about 1,000 people in the Wustermark region of Brandenburg as well as in the Hungarian city of Szeged during the three-year construction period. Once in operation, each location will provide jobs for about 50 highly qualified personnel on a long-term basis, Siemens said in a statement.

Israeli generic drug maker Teva inaugurated a HUF 20 billion drug packaging plant.

Israeli generic drug maker Teva inaugurated a HUF 20 billion drug packaging plant at its base on July 13, in the Hungarian city of Debrecen.
The new plant will create 300 workplaces, said Teva Pharmaceutical Industries CEO Shlomo Yanai. Teva is making an investment of a similar size in Gödöllő, on the outskirts of Budapest, where it is building a sterile products plant, he added.
Teva employs about 3,000 people in Hungary.

La société norvegienne Sapa construit une nouvelle usine en Hongrie

Norwegian-owned Sapa Profiles, the world’s largest producer of light aluminum profiles, laid the cornerstone of a new 8,000 sqm production facility in Szekesfehervar on Tuesday.

The Hungarian government has channeled EUR 1.92 million of EU funding into the project worth a total of EUR 5 million. The new facility is expected to employ 80–100 new staff to be trained in cooperation with a local technical school. Speaking at the ceremony, Hungary’s PM Viktor Orban said the project fits in well with the government’s ambitions to help companies create quality jobs by combining financial assistance with a steady supply of skilled labor.

La société indienne Samvardhana Motherson Refletec (SMR) construit une nouvelle usine en Hongrie

Samvardhana Motherson Refletec (SMR), an Indian-based multinational rear-view mirror manufacturer has broken ground for a new 15 000 sqm production facility near the north-western Hungarian town of Mosonmagyaróvár.

The company (already employing 1000 people in another Hungarian facility) is planning to hire 250 workers in the first phase starting in 2011 to increase staff number to a total 400 in the forthcoming years. Hungary’s location is of strategic importance for SMR, which is a supplier of several European carmakers and their Hungarian subsidiaries. The new plant will be producing rear-view mirrors mainly for Daimler-Benz Hungary.

Développement de la société espagnole Iberdrola Renovables en Hongrie

Spanish wind energy giant Iberdrola Renovables has commissioned its second wind farm in North Western Hungary, bringing the company’s total wind energy capacity operated in the country to 88 megawatts.

Beside its two operating wind farms, Iberdrola has a further 70 megawatt capacity under construction in Hungary. With a total capacity of 158 megawatts, Iberdrola could take as much as 50 pct market share in the Hungarian wind energy sector in the forthcoming years. To date, the installation of a 330 megawatt capacity was authorized in Hungary, while operating capacities added up to 201 Megawatts in early 2010. However, the Hungarian Renewable Energy Strategy has set out the ambitious target of 1000 megawatt wind energy capacity to be installed by 2020.

Le journal français GEO Magazine devrait publier un article de 8 pages sur le tourisme en Hongrie

A journalist from France’s prestigious GEO magazine was invited to Budapest by the Hungarian National Tourist Office and the Tourism Office of Budapest.

During her stay, she discovered the spas, the architecture, the extraordinary attractions and gastronomy, the cafés, and conducted lots of interviews.
The magazine, with a monthly circulation of 4.5 million, is planning to publish an eight-page report on Budapest in its September issue.

La société RATG construit une usine de semences en Hongrie

French-owned RAGT Semences will soon start building a seed-planting processing and packaging facility in the Morahalom industrial park (SE Hungary), company director Didier Nury said on August 30.

Construction will start before the end of the year and will be completed in several phases, Mr Nury said. The first phase will finish by 2012, he added.
The Hungarian Investment and Trade Development Agency (ITD Hungary) assisted RAGT in finding a site for the plant. RAGT has six seed-planting facilities in Europe. It sells 235 types of seeds for 22 crops.

GM pourrait agrandir son usine de moteurs en Hongrie

Selon le quotidien NEPSZABADSAG, General Motors prévoit de doubler d’ici à 2013 la capacité de son usine de moteurs de Szentgotthard, en Hongrie (460 000 unités par an actuellement), ce qui pourrait entraîner la création de 700 à 800 emplois.

Edit Lagradi, porte-parole de la filiale hongroise de GM Powertrain, a indiqué à Reuters que General Motors n’avait pas pris de décision concernant cet investissement. « Pour l’instant, il s’agit d’un projet qui pourrait être mené à bien à Szentgotthard ou dans une autre usine en Europe », a-t-elle ajouté. Ventes de voitures en Hongrie au 1er semestre 2010

Les ventes de voitures neuves sur le marché hongrois (véhicules de loisir inclus) se sont effondrées de 45 % au premier semestre, à 25 330 unités, selon les chiffres de la MGE (importateurs), qui estime que le marché local pourrait devenir « insignifiant » pour les constructeurs. L’organisation a outre revu ses prévisions à la baisse pour l’ensemble de 2010, à 50 000 unités, contre 65 000 unités précédemment annoncées. Le BUDAPEST BUSINESS JOURNAL (7/7/10) rappelle que le marché avait atteint il y a six ans le niveau record de 208 000 unités.

Santé : les pots-de-vin des médecins

Depuis longtemps en Hongrie, les patients versent des "dessous de tables" à leurs médecins pour se sentir bien soignés, et ces petites pratiques de corruption, devenues des faits de vie, semblent bien naturelles à la majorité des praticiens.

Selon une enquête d'AXA Santé (AXA Egészségpénztár) et de l'Institut de recherche sur la santé (GKI-EKI HealthCare Research Institute) citée par le portail d'informations Origo la semaine dernière, les Hongrois dépensent en moyenne 9600 HUF par an (soit environ 33 euros) en dessous de table payés à leur médecin. Au total, près de 32 milliards de forints, soit 112 millions d'euros, financent ainsi "au noir" le système de santé. 49% des sondés pensent qu'ils ne recevront pas de bons soins médicaux s'ils ne font pas ce petit "cadeau" à leur médecin.

Débuts difficiles entre BKV et le gouvernement.

Y aura t-il "serrage de ceinture" chez BKV ? Le ministère de l'Economie examine actuellement son budget pour décider du montant maximal des aides publiques qu'il peut allouer à la société des transports publics de Budapest (BKV) pour le reste de cette année. Selon la porte-parole Anna Nagy à MTI-ECONEMS hier, le gouvernement ne devrait tout de même pas laisser la compagnie sur le carreau. Mais à en croire le maire de Budapest Gabor Demszky, celle-ci serait actuellement complètement prise à la gorge.

Le Sziget Fesztival en chiffres

Personne ne l’ignore, le fameux festival Sziget, l’un des évènements européens de l’été, débutera dans quelques jours et tout est fait sur l’île d’Obuda pour préparer le terrain avant le lancement des hostilités, mercredi. Le quotidien économique Vilaggazdasag a profité de ces derniers moments de répits pour revenir sur le coût de ce mastodonte...commercial.

Sur un budget total de 2.7 milliards HUF (+/- 10 millions d'euro), 1.5 milliard est consacré aux spectacles proprement dit, dont 990 millions reviennent directement aux artistes. La préparation technique représente un coût de 500 millions HUF, soit quinze jours de travaux et 180 camions nécessaires pour aménager le site et mettre en place les structures d’accueil des artistes et du public. L’organisation a dépensé 100 millions HUF en publicité/marketting en Hongrie et 135 millions à l’étranger.

Enquête en ligne sur les attentes des ressortissants français résidant à l'étranger

L’Ambassade de France à Budapest a mis en ligne sur son site internet (www.ambafrance-hu.org) , à la demande de la Maison des Français de l'Etranger, un questionnaire (enquête en ligne du 25 juin au 25 septembre 2010) sur les attentes des ressortissants français résidant à l'étranger ou ayant un projet d'expatriation.

taux d’impôt sur les bénéfices des sociétés abaissé à 10%

La baisse du taux de l'impôt sur le bénéfice des sociétés a été publiée au Journal Officiel du 13 août 2010. A partir du 1er juillet 2010, le taux d'impôt est abaissé à 10% jusqu'à 500 millions HUF de bénéfice imposable annuel, au delà ce taux reste à 19%.
