L’entreprise finlandaise Helkama Forste devrait transférer sa production en Hongrie

Finnish refrigerator maker Helkama plans to shut down its plants in Finland and Norway and move all of its production to its base in Hungary, business daily Napi Gazdasag reported.

Teva double sa capacité de production à Debrecen

Teva Pharmaceutical Works Private Ltd (TPW), the Hungarian subsidiary of the Israel’s Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, announced on March 17 it would launch a three-year project. Some USD 100 million will be invested into the Debrecen facility to double the solids manufacturing capacity of TPW. The works will be started in the second quarter of 2008. The new plant, which will create more than 400 jobs, is scheduled to reach its full capacity by the end of 2010, Teva said in a statement.

Tetra Pack Transforme son unité de production en Hongrie en un centre régional

Swedish packaging giant Tetra Pak has transformed its factory on the outskirts of Budapest into a base for the region, including Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, in addition to Hungary.
The base will be headed by Svend Weidemann, Tetra Pak's sales director for the CEE region.

Raba signe un contrat d'approvisionnement de cinq ans avec la société John Deere

Hungarian automotive industry company Raba said Tuesday it signed a five-year supply agreement with US farm machinery giant John Deere worth more than USD 10m a year.

Investissement chinois en Hongrie pour les emballages biodégradables

L'entreprise chinoise Harbin Livan Biodegradable Product Co Ltd va investir dans la région de Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, au nord-est de la Hongrie jusqu'en 2009. Les projets, qui concernent les villes de Alsózsolcán et Edelényben, ont été annoncés par le ministère hongrois de l'économie János Kóka et le directeur de ITDH György Rétfalvi, à Shangaï, pour l'ouverture de la Saison Hongroise en Chine. L'investissement serait d'environ 25 millions d'euros.
