La compagnie suisse Advanced Power devrait construire une centrale électrique pour 600 millions d’EUR à Szeged

Switzerland's Advanced Power plans to build a EUR 600 million 880MW combined-cycle power plant in the Hungarian city of Szeged, project manager Adrian Bobula said on Wednesday.

The process of acquiring permits for the plant will start in the summer, and construction could start in 2012. The plant could begin operating as soon as 2015 and will have a lifespan of at least 25 years.
Advanced Power picked Szeged as the site for the plant because of its significant gas storage capacity nearby. Recently, an agreement was reached to transfer gas between Szeged and Arad in Romania.
