Nouveau système de taxe pour le marché des mobiles

The new frequency fee system of the national mobile market was introduced last Monday by Annamária Szalai, the president of the National Media and Telecommunications Authority.

“The new system provides both end users and corporations present in the market with advantages,” Szalai said, adding that service providers will now have the incentives to further invest in the mobile segment.
In the new fee system - which in some cases can offer up to 50 per cent discount for four years - companies are encouraged to invest money in areas with lower reach, because contrary to the earlier version they will now pay a fixed fee. As opposed to the previous system, which was essentially based on the development of speech-based services, the new structure will be technology independent.
