US-based National Instruments (NI) has established a centre on the outskirts of Budapest to provide systems engineering services to business partners all over Europe.
The centre will be involved primarily in radiofrequency technology, but it will also provide solutions for the automotive industry and other sectors.
NI has outfitted the centre with some HUF 200m of radiofrequency technology equipment. National Instruments opened its first overseas plant in the Hungarian city of Debrecen in 2001. It employs more than 1,100 people at the base
