Italian-owned Tecnica Ungheria Logistic will build a 4.5 billion Ft ski boot factory and logistics centre in the Hungarian city of Nagykallo.

Italian-owned Tecnica Ungheria Logistic will build a 4.5 billion Ft ski boot factory and logistics centre in the Hungarian city of Nagykallo by the end of 2010, state secretary at the National Development and Economy Ministry Abel Garamhegyi said at a press conference on June 10.The plant will employ 200 people.The plant's location is an advantage as it is just four kilometres from the M3 motorway, 50 kilometres from Zahony and close to Slovakia, said Tecnica Ungheria managing director Renato Fava.Hungary aims to turn Zahony into a logistics hub for the entire region.
