Hungarian and Russian business leaders met in Budapest on Thursday for the start of a two-day forum.

Bilateral trade of goods between Hungary and Russia rose more than 30pc last year over USD 8.5bn in 2009, Leonid Surigin, Russia's trade attache for Hungary, told the forum organised by Businesses Club Association.

Sandor Ujhelyi, chairman of the association, said Hungarians need to change their style and break from stereotypes of the past to make progress with business partners in Russia.
