Weger Hungária Industrial Climate Technology Ltd. has made a HUF 252 million investment at its plant in Járokszállás with EU funding.
The development will serve both the improvement of production conditions and the expansion of the workforce, says CEO Ernő Bobák
For the development, they gained a HUF 99 million in non-refundable funding after a successful application for an operational program launched by the National Development Agency.
With the development, Weger will expand its metal industry production hall at the Járokszállás plant from the existing 2,672 square meters to 4,806. The expansion was made necessary due to increased demand.
Weger Hungária, established in 2006, manufactures entire air management units and hygienic equipment, exporting primarily to Germany and Austria. It also increased its presence in the Czech, Slovak and the Romanian markets, as well as at home. Its annual revenue exceeded HUF 2 billion, mainly coming from export.
