Hungrana devrait tripler sa production de Bioethanol

The major Hungarian maize processor Hungrana is going to launch a new bioethanol production capacity by July. The company has invested more than 100 million Euro to triple its biofuel production capacity. Reaching the level 150,000 tonnes of bioethanol production Hungary will be able to meet EU-2020 targets, i.e. for 10 percent bioethanol content in vehicle fuel.
Launching its greenfield programme in 2006, Hungrana started selling its own biofuel - E85, consisting of 85 percent bioethanol and 15 percent petrol – for so-called flexi-fuel vehicles about a year ago.
