Hungarian-Italian NuovaEnergia plans to build a HUF 500 million (EUR 1.86 million) logistics center in Hungary for the distribution of equipment designed to boost energy efficiency, company Managing Director Csaba Ferenczi said at a press conference on August 11. NuovaEnergia Financial Manager Piroska Torjek said the company has already signed a preliminary agreement to buy a 1,600-square-meter building to package the Italian-made products in Nagykanizsa (SW Hungary). The company has exclusive distribution rights in 15 European countries. NuovaEnergia plans to employ a staff of 100 at the centre. The company intends to pay for the project using private investments and grants. NuovaEnergia expects the logistics center to begin operations by the end of this year.
